The Western Art Week Shows are back with a Special Edition! This year the Arts Association of Montana is showcasing nine AAM member artists from across Montana and two Featured Artists, Diane Hausmann, Fairfield, Montana and Steve Nelson, Great Falls, Montana. They represent diverse artwork from painting to drawing, photography and calligraphy to concrete (yes!), fashion and multimedia. Abstract to representative styles take the eye to discover new ways to look at the wide landscape to intimate spaces.
Come to our show at The History Museum, 422 2nd Street South. The Ozark Room is known for the blues and jazz entertainment from the 1950's. It's an amazing space to show off art! The History Museum will also have select items for sale.
Wednesday, August 18 opens at 10am with a reception from 5-7pm. Music by Dave Raba, guitarist, will entertain guests. Thursday, August 19 and Friday, August 20 is open 10am-5pm. A raffle for original art benefits the Val Knight Scholarships awarded each year to graduating high school students. Only 150 tickets are for sale for $5 each! You need not be present to win but we certainly would like to give you your prize in person!
See you then!
